Ruby V Grant

Ginger R. Grant, 85, of Albion, passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 at Oaklawn Hospital of Marshall. She was born May 19, 1928 in Harris Township, AR to Ralph F. and Dollie (Phillips) McGaha. She married Melvin Ray Grant August 12, 1958 in Baxter, TX .

Ginger graduated High School in Arkansas. and Beauty College in Texas.. She then served as a W.A.C. in the US Army during WWII. She also worked at Corning Glass until they closed. She went on to work at Albion College and owned her own rental properties. Ginger loved gardening, bowling and cooking for gatherings with family and friends. She adored her pets, especially her Shih Tzu Deliah.

She was preceded in death by: her husband: Melvin, daughter Donna Lefler, her parents, 7 sisters and 1 brother and 3 grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, November 18, 2013 from 5:00-8:00PM at the J. Kevin Tidd Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM with a one hour visitation prior to the service with Pastor Earl Martin officiating. Interment will be at Albion Memory Gardens.
