

R.V. Johnson II, departed from this life on October 4, 2021. He was born on April 16, 1999, to R.V. and Deloris Johnson in Marshall, Michigan at Oaklawn Hospital. He was baptized in the Pentecostal Church of God.
R.V.II attended Albion Public Schools, Marshall High School, and graduated from Gull Lake High School in 2018. He worked at Musashi Auto Parts. He played basketball from his youth up and played Varsity at both Marshall and Gull Lake High Schools. He was a talented, passionate musician and artist. He had a pure love for music, so much so, that he became a self-taught guitarist, and wrote his own songs.
R.V.II leaves to cherish in his memory, his parents, his father, R.V. Johnson of Albion, MI, and Deloris Johnson of Kalamazoo, MI. His siblings; 4 sisters, Talina (Brady)Smith, Mia Williams, Precious Johnson, and Da’Yondra (Amber)Williams, and 4 brothers, Robert (Frankie)Johnson, Raveela (Marlayna)Johnson, Bud, and Ravelle Johnson. His God sisters, La’Visha McDonald, Shanda Couvillion-Aerts, Quita Chapman, and Tatiana White. And, also had a host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and many relatives who loved him dearly. He will truly be missed.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gloria Francis, and Henry Williams Sr. His paternal grandparents Louise and O’Neal Johnson, and his uncle Richard Showers Sr.
The family will receive visitors for a family hour on Friday, October 15 from 4-7 PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion. Graveside services to celebrate R.V.'s life will be held on Saturday, October 16th at 11AM at Albion Memory Gardens.
