Viola Frost

She was born January 30, 1918 in New Orleans, LA, to Henry Murphy and Martha Ann McNeal. She was one of 3 girls. She married Rodgers D. Frost in 1941 and was blessed with 4 children from this union. Rodgers preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Molly Jones and Pearlie Rogers, five brothers in law and three sisters in law.

Viola (Sister) Frost was a homemaker who loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was a lover of music and was known to cut a step or two from time to time. Viola accepted Christ at early age in Senatobia, Mississippi. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Albion MI.

She is survived by her son Rodgers (Joyce) Frost of Kalamazoo Michigan, daughters Bessie (Fred Hall) Frost, Dorothy (Lee Arthur) Hall and Pearl Frost Sanders all of Albion. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 41 great great grandchildren, special friends Belulah Hampton, Robbie Langston, Bobbie Jackson and Jackie Etchison, and a host of others who loved her dearly.

Funeral Services will be at 12:00 PM Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Bethel Baptist Church, 523 Washington Street, Albion, with Pastor Fred H. Alexander, Jr officiating. Family hour will be 11:00 AM until time of service at the church.

Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Albion.
