Gary A. Van Ameron

ALBION, NY – Gary A. Van Ameron, 68 passed June 9, 2015 surrounded by family. Beloved husband of 44 years to Anita Van Ameron. Cherished son to Shirley Eden and the late Howard Van Ameron. Gary was a devoted member of the Albion Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. 1006, American Legion and the N.R.A. Loving father to Corey(Missy) and Jeremy(Tracy) Van Ameron. Best grandpa in the world to Zachery, Evan, Justin, Kyle, and Alexis Van Ameron. Also survived by two sisters and a brother, Linda(Gary) Guentner of Mooresville, NC, Karen(Robert) Kimmel of Union Grove, NC, Craig Van Ameron of Clarendon and several brothers-in law and sisters-in law. Cherished uncle to many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends on Monday, June 15th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 and Tuesday, June 16th from 2:00-4:00 at the (Albion Chapel) MERRILL-GRINNELL FUNERAL HOME, 12 Ingersoll St, where a Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm. Family and friends are invited.

Gary retired as the plant manager of Genesee LeRoy Stone Corp. in Clarendon and Hulberton, was the owner and operator of Vans Service, and retired most recently from the Orleans County Highway Department.
