Bobby Lee Parton, age 92, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on May 10, 2021. Bobby was a graduate from the University of Tennessee. After recieving his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management Mr. Parton joined the Naval Academy where he graduated at the top of his class. During the Korean War Bobby Lee became an Officer in the Navy. For many years Bobby served as a Deacon at Meridian Baptist Church. Bobby is preceeded in death by wife Doris Marie Goodin Parton; parents Brownlow and Julia Pearl Parton; siblings Posey, Lucille, and Helen. He is survived by sons Steve Parton, Greg Parton, and Jeff (Vickie) Parton; grandchildren Matthew Parton, Jessie Parton, Christian Loposser and Koty Loposser; great- grandchildren Campton and Cove Parton, Carson Loposser, and Brodie Bush. Family and friends will meet at 12:15pm at East Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery for a 12:30pm graveside service officiated by Rev. Dana Fachman. Condolences are welcome at www.sherwoodchapel.com.
