She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. She retired from Lakeshore Mental Health Institute after many years.
Georgia is preceded in death by her husband Earl Anderson; sons Joe Burkhart and Jack Burkhart; daughters Pat Calwell and Nellie Anderson.
She is survived by her daughter Billie (David) Anderson, of Knoxville; son Eddie Burkhart of Louisville, and sister Letha Hickman, of Kodak.
She was a loving grandmother to a total of 102 grandchildren that expanded over 6 generations.
Georgia’s family would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers at NHC Fort Sanders for the wonderful care that was provided.
The family welcomes friends to a Visitation on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens from 12pm-2pm, with a Funeral Service at 2pm and a Graveside to follow in the Garden of Victory.
