

She was a loving and gentle soul who found joy in the simple beauty of life. She cherished tending to her flower gardens, where butterflies often fluttered among the blooms which brought her a sense of peace and wonder. Kathie was deeply devoted to her faith. She lived her life with a Godly spirit and generous heart. Above all she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her endless pride, laughter, and love. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Kathie is survived by her husband of 45 years Ivan Henthorne; children David (Lisa) Willings, Katrina (Donnie) Holland, Benny (Carrie) Willings, Kandy Brooks, and Ike (Shawna) Henthorne; grandchildren Andrew, Harley, Shaine, Chris, Caleb, Julian, Jade, Amelia, Lou, Tommy, Gloria, Leighann, Tyler, Audrey, Josalyn, Emily, Hannah, and Haley; great-grandchildren Brooklynn, Trenton, Hazel, Danielle, Kinsley, Kimber, Kendall, Conan, Oakleigh, Samantha, Casey, Aydan, Kaydan, Delilah, Brielle, Karson, and Rose; brother Edward Julian; sisters Christy DeBusk, Charlotte Beddingfield, and Debbie Filden; and niece Micki McMurray.
The family welcomes friend to a Visitation at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 12pm-2pm, with a Funeral Service to follow at 2pm officiated by Pastor David Jeffers.
