

Kim Marie Mickle(LaBarge), 69 of Maryville, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, in the early hours from a sudden illness and rejoined her four children of miscarriage that preceded her in death.
Kim was born at Saratoga Hospital on July 29, 1955, to Glen F. LaBarge and Elizabeth J. LaBarge(Churchill) in Saratoga, N Y. She grew up in St. Johnsville, NY. She received her GED and had over two years of college credits in Early Childhood Education.
Kim married Thomas D. Mickle on June 16th, 1973, in St. Johnsville, N Y. Kim was a stay-at-home wife and mother for many years. She did work for Coleco in Amsterdam NY and Methodist Childcare Center in Lubbock, Texas. She was very involved in church as a women’s leader, taught Sunday school, a care group leader, an intercessory prayer warrior, and greeter.
Kim most enjoyed being a mom, Nana, and a Great Nana. She is most known to family and friends for her baking, cooking, crochet, floral arrangements, and prayer. She had a heart for Missions and went on a mission trip to Russia. She was devoted to being at almost any activity her children or grandchildren were involved in. She was blessed with seeing many of her grandchildren being born.
Kim leaves behind her husband, Thomas D. Mickle of 51 and a half years and, daughter Tina Gray (Ronald Gray), son Ryan Mickle (Ariel), and daughter Stacia Mickle (Julie).
Kim is survived by her grandchildren Thomas Place (Lilly), Michael Place, Dakotah Gray, Ethan Gray (Jamie), Theressa Mickle, Graham Mickle, Charlette Mickle. She is also survived by a great granddaughter Kennedy Place. Kim leaves behind a sister Linda Dwyer (Tom) and a brother by adoption Robert LaBarge (Karen). She was preceded in death by her father Glen F. LaBarge.
The family welcomes friends to a Visitation at Faith Promise Church Blount Campus on Monday, January 6, 2025, from 1pm-3pm with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 3pm. Kim’s family welcomes friends to a Graveside Service at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 8:30am. Pastor Jayson Hines will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Faith Promise Missions or a mission of your choice in memory of her.
