Lynda Lou Cox

Lynda Lou Cox, age 84, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022. Lynda was a member of Dutch Valley Church of God of Knoxville, TN and attended New Life Assembly of God of Heiskell, TN. Lynda retired from the U.S.P.S. after over 20 years of service.

Lynda was greeted at the gates of Eternity by her loving husband Willie F. Cox; parents, Clarence and Eltha Hall; brother, John Hall; sister, Norma Lewis.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving and dedicated son Mark A. (Frances) Cox, special family members Janie Bloodworth, Frankie Campbell and daughter Mallorie, Sheila Osborne her sons Dustin and Eric, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

The family will honor Lynda with a Receiving of Friend on May 14, 2022 at Sherwood Chapel & Memorial Gardens, in The Good Shepherd Mausoleum Chapel from 2:00PM to 3:00PM, with a Memorial Service to follow at 3:00PM.

The family would like to thank the individuals whom cared for Lynda in her time of need, Christy, Jessica, Suzy, Lisa, and the staff on the 7th. floor at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Thank you all for you loving care and understanding.

In lieu of flowers Lynda would like donations made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Young Williams Animal Shelter, 3201 Division St, Knoxville, TN 37919.
