My Grandmother, Mabel Reynolds, was ‘Miss Marie’ and ‘Mr George’s’ next door neighbor until she passed away in 1963. My entire family attended First Baptist Church in Alcoa with Marie and George. I have SUCH wonderful memories of ‘Miss Marie’!! She was ALWAYS SO sweet and kind to me!! Every Halloween my Brothers and I would ‘trick or treat’ on Boyle Street. ‘Miss Marie’ ALWAYS had a ‘special’ treat for us - most always her yummy homemade Popcorn Balls!! I have never forgotten this sweet lady and I loved her very much!! My heart, thought and prayers are with her family and please know what an influence she was in my life!!! I was SO blessed to have known her!!
With love,
Kathy Reynolds White
