Celia "Geo" Georgina Emerson

Geo lived the majority of her life in or around New Westminster, but spent a few years in Prince George while working for the federal government and treasured years in Victoria with our “island family”. She was fiercely loyal to all her family, feisty to a fault and to her last breath, still maintained a wicked wit.

Geo was predeceased by her mother, Catherine Keay Sullivan, her sister Melanie Falcon and brother Archie McLean. She is survived by her loving husband of over 70 years, Ken Emerson; her 3 children Randy Emerson (Christine), Sherry Nantais (Chris), Kim Emerson (Barb); 7 Grandchildren - Craig Nygard (Shari), Eric Nygard (Cameron Holland), Calina Emerson, Sam Emerson (Maddy), Tara Camplair (Brandon), Britton Emerson, Amanda Leslie (Stephan); 16 great grandchildren - Malachi, Olivia, Payton, Elisha, Devin, Amanda, Myah, Ariana, Hannah, Rebekah, Aylah, Keziah, Ezrah, Brinley, Elizabeth and Emerson Roy; her lifelong friend Jeanette Allen and cherished cousins Linda Semak and Gail Blinkhorn, as well as many other family and friends.

A celebration of life to be announced at a later date. Special thanks to the Foyer Maillard where she spent the last 2 years of her life. Donations in Geo's honour can be made to a Charity of your choice.
