It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend, Gayle Moore. Gayle passed away at the age of 78, on April 28, 2024 with her family by her side after a very short battle with cancer. She is survived by her children Dan (Christy) and Debbie (Jan), grandchildren Riley and Braeden, sister Maureen, niece Deana (Kevin) and nephews John (Steph) and Gord (Jane).
Gayle worked as the customer service representative at Scotiabank for 40+ years. She loved helping her customers and knew everyone by name. Gayle was a dedicated mom and a kind and loving grandma. She looked forward to her weekly visits with her sister, her daily calls with her best friend Darlene and she loved spending time with her friends and family. Nothing was more important to Gayle than her family. She cherished her visits with her grandsons and the frequent dinners and get-togethers at her home with all of her favorite people around her. Gayle will be terribly missed by all who loved her and spent time with her.
A special thank you to our family and friends who provided loving support to Gayle throughout her life. There will be no service at Gayle's request, but a family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to BC Children's Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
