Harry, I will never forget you. See you on the other side.

The world is less bright with the loss of the wonderful Harry Davis. I met Harry twenty-five years ago in an unlikely place. A dentist's chair.  Harry ,a nervous patient with a painful emergency, and I, an inexperienced and perhaps equally nervous dentist at the time. A solid and inspiring friendship began that day. For so many years our entire office has been blessed to share Harry's stories, quick wit, and to experience his incredible and thoughtful, compassionate nature. Underneath his tough exterior, was undeniably the most kind-hearted and gentle of souls. We hope Joyce will take comfort in the fact that he is now resting in peace.

Warren and I consider ourselves so very lucky to have known Harry. He and Joyce had Warline paint their house and even had our family over for dinner. Harry had the biggest heart and loved people. He had great stories of growing up in East Vancouver and being a bus driver. We are so sad to hear of his passing. RIP Harry. We'll miss you.

Remembered Harry as a driver and then Road Supervisor, a great guy. Will be sadly missed by all. My sympathy to the family.

Joyce; Evelyn and I were very saddened to hear of Harry's passing. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Harry's bigger than life personality and infectious laugh were something we all were immediately drawn to. I certainly was as Harry also had the same love for practical jokes as I did. I will cherish the times we had together and remember Harry with great fondness.

So sorry to hear of Harry's passing.  He was such a great supervisor and always such a nice person on the job and off. Will sure miss him.  My condolences to Joyce and his family.

RIP: Harry Davis. Although I never worked under your directions or supervision, I feel perhaps I was cheated of your kindness and respect and to me, this is a great loss. I may have met you, perhaps at a Roadeo at one time or other. I spent 38 yrs at transit and I never once heard a bad word directed at you from drivers. This only confirms to me that you were a fair man and treated everyone with respect. To your immediate family, closest friends, and co-workers, my deepest regrets for the loss of a great man.

Harry was my first supervisor at BC Transit, a great guy whose philosophy was to help and guide those under his wing.  I'll always remember his mentorship.

Will always remember the big laugh, smile and personality.

I worked with Harry in Operations, he was an up front kind of guy, didn't take any crap from anyone... RIP

I knew Harry for over 30 years, he has a special place in my heart. We shared a lot of a laughs and he brought joy to our sometimes joyless job.

Harry was a great guy, both on the job and off. He, and his sense of humor, will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. My condolences to his family and friends. R.I.P. Harry.
