John Charles Thiessen

John passed away in Langley, BC surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

John will be forever missed by his son John (Kelly), grandchildren: Brooklyn, Jordan and Madison, his mother Merle and sister Louise (Al), nephew Thomas and niece Charity.

John was predeceased by his father John, brother Robert and by his loving wife Joanne of almost 32 years, who he cherished with all his heart. John will be greatly missed by all his extended family members and his many close friends who loved him dearly.

John was a man of kindness and generosity leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. John walked through life with a wonderful sense of humor that will be remembered by all. John’s passion has always been for animals especially his hobby of collecting birds, bringing him many years of enjoyment, comfort and peace.

Until we meet again you will be in our thoughts and forever in our hearts.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 11:30 am at Langley Senior Resources Society, 20605 51B Ave, Langley.

Should family or friends wish to, they can make a donation in John’s name to a charity of their choice.
