1 November 1977 – 2 October 2026
It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Our Beautiful Leigh Kinnear, who passed away peacefully on 2 October 2026, at the age of 48, surrounded by her family.
Born on 1 November 1977, in Johannesburg, South Africa, Leigh lived a life defined by kindness, strength, love, and laughter. She was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth and generosity touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Leigh will be remembered for the deep love she had for her family and friends and for the remarkable person she was. She had a special gift for bringing people together and making everyone feel loved, valued, and welcome. In her presence, even the simplest moments became meaningful.
Throughout her life, Leigh showed extraordinary strength, courage, and resilience. Even through life’s most difficult challenges, she remained positive, always looked for the bright side of every situation, and continued to share her beautiful smile. Her strength and spirit will remain an enduring inspiration to all who loved her.
Above all, Leigh’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She leaves behind her husband, Mark Kinnear; daughters, Sharna Leigh Norton and Addsion Jade Kinnear; mother and stepfather, Gill and Glenn Schoeman; siblings, Candice Messias and Kyle Brain Schoeman; and nieces, Kyna, Morgan, Brooklin, and Wren. She will be reunited in peace with her Pops, Clifford Edward Webb, and her brother, Gary Schoeman.
Though our hearts are broken by her absence, we will carry Leigh’s love with us always. Her lessons, laughter, kindness, and the memories we shared will remain a part of us forever. She may no longer be beside us, but the love she gave us will never leave us.
Leigh was deeply loved, will be forever missed, and her memory will live on in all of us.
