Raymond Joseph (Ray) Miller, passed away at 90 years old in Princeton, BC, June 20, 2026. Ray had been married to his wife, Carleen Nancy May Miller who predeceased him in 2025, for almost 68 years; they had known each for 70 years. Ray is survived by their two children, Gary (Jeanette), Sandra (Rob), and their 6 grandchildren, Tanya Miller, Alex Miller, Katie (Braydon) Scarpelli, great-grandaughter Isabella Scarpelli and Carlee (Earl) Purvis, Havoc Turchyniak, and Haley Turchyniak-Miller. Ray retired as a captain in the New Westminster Fire Department after 30 years of service. Ray had also been a part-time commercial fisherman and had worked as a cowboy herding cattle in the Okanagan and other locations in BC from age 17 until he stopped in his early 80’s. Ray was loved deeply, and is and always will be missed by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
