Roberta Miller, known as Robbie to her friends, passed away February 22, 2021 at the age of 103. Born in Chilliwack in 1918, she is predeceased by her husband, George. Robbie will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters; Maxine (John), Donna, and Sandra, her four grandchildren Mathew (Cheryl), Michael (Sydney), Erin (Jason), and Jay (Jill), as well as her four great grandchildren Jacob, Samantha, Brandon and Andrew.
Robbie and George raised their family in South Burnaby where they both enjoyed years of travelling and a passion for golf. Many happy retirement years were spent golfing with friends as “Snowbirds” in Desert Hot Springs.
After moving to Langley, Robbie enjoyed living independently and being an active member of Poppy Golf Course until the age of 88. At 98 she became a resident of Brookside Lodge for her final years. The family would like to thank the staff for their compassionate care and kindness.
Robbie’s quiet, caring ways will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
