Ginny Hardy got away last night at 9:03pm peacefully at the new Langley Hospice House. After 43 years together I will miss her terribly but I would not wish her back for a minute to suffer more of the indignity and pain she has endured through this cancer. She is in a much better place and we should all be glad for her.
Ginny was a strong, proud, extremely capable person. Somewhat opiniated and she did not suffer fools well. Fiercely loyal to family, friends, and crazy dogs.
I now ask a favor of all who knew her. Think of a time you had, or heard of, an interaction with Ginny that best displayed these traits and remember her that way. I can think of no more fitting tribute to a life well lived.
Thanks,
Steve
P.S. A get together will be planned and further details will be provided.
