Mrs. Harney retired from Sears When she was 55 years old and enjoyed her retirement to the fullest. She loved birdwatching, genealogy, quilting, water aerobics with the gang, and cooking. She was always happiest outdoors planting and tending things, finding interesting rocks to show her great grandchildren, or just picking up sticks.
Alzheimer’s dementia may have robbed her of time but she remained happy and smiling until her last days. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s association at Alz.org for research or to Alzheimer’s Arkansas at alzark.org for caregiver support.
Her family would like to thank Baptist Health Hospice for their care and support and Pleasant Hill Senior Services for providing caring and compassionate home care support. If not for these two agencies it would have been more difficult to care for her at home.
A graveside for Audean will be held Monday, May 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, Arkansas 72002.
