Brenda Gail Forte

Brenda Gail Forte passed on May 2, 2026, at the age of 73. She was born on June 16, 1952, in Little Rock, AR, to the late Howard E. and Jewell Brooks. In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by brothers, Howard Brooks Jr. and Randy Brooks.

Brenda was a graduate of Central High School in Little Rock, Class of 1970, and carried forward the steady determination and quiet strength that marked her throughout life. She went on to work at Timex Corporation in manufacturing, approaching her days with patience, reliability, and a thoughtful care for doing things well.

From an early age, Brenda’s generosity showed itself not in grand gestures, but in faithful presence. She took care of both of her sisters from a young age, whenever it was needed, an enduring reflection of her resilience and the kind of devotion that asks for no recognition. Those closest to her cherished her and her warm sense of humor that could lighten a moment and bring comfort when it mattered most.

Those left to cherish her memory include sisters, Marguerite Mayfield and Karla (Robert) Langford; sister-in-law, Debbie Brooks; nieces, Crystal Brooks, Angela McTavish, and Breanna Langford; nephews, Bob Brooks, Kyle Mayfield, and Robert Langford; as well as many other beloved family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 HIGHWAY 5 N, ALEXANDER, AR 72002, US, on May 7, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will follow, also at Pinecrest Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 am.
