Rev. Carl H. Garner, age 75, of Hensley, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025. He was born on May 12, 1949, in Humnoke, Arkansas to the late Raymond Leon and Madeline Pamelia Garner. In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
Carl pastored several churches as his children were growing up, many times moving all across the United States to follow the call that God had given him. He was someone who cherished other people, always putting others first even when there was no benefit to him. His heart reflected that of the God he served, and his actions left no doubt to anyone who met him.
Those left to cherish Carl's memory include his wife, Karen Elyse Garner; children, Jason R. (Shulana) Garner, Justin R. (Michelle) Garner, and Ryan L. (Karen M.) Garner; nephew, Nicholas (Melissa) Costello and family; sisters, Mildred and Alice; brother, Johnny Garner; grandchildren, Tyler, Nathan, Phillip, Stacey, Cynthia, Daphne, Abbigail, Andrew, Allison, Anthony, and Kaylee; 7 great-grandchildren; as well as many other beloved family and friends.
A memorial service for Carl will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Family Church of Bryant, 21815 I-30 Frontage Rd, Bryant, AR 72022.
