Charles Johnson

Charles was a U.S. Navy Seaman on the USS Holland then became a manager for K-Mart for many years where he was awarded as outstanding manager for several years while employed with them. He was also an employee with the Big Lots Corp. Charles gladly served on the board as a chairman of the American Cancer Society of Jessop, Georgia.

Charles was always sharing the word of God, it was his motivation in life. He enjoyed gardening, wood crafts and traveling, especially his adventure with Pat and Kathy to Noah's Ark. You could always find his furry best friend Comfort in his lap.

He is survived by his children, Joshua Erik Johnson and Joseph William Johnson; grandchild: Jacob Cheng Johnson; brothers, Jc Johnson and Wesley M. Johnson; sisters, Gloria "Pat" Johnson McGuire and Carolyn Kay Johnson Lacy. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Minda Johnson; sister, Maxine Johnson.

A visitation for Charles will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 7401 Highway 5 N, Alexander, Arkansas 72002. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 12:00 PM, 7401 Highway 5 N, Alexander, Arkansas 72002. A burial will occur Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Fairplay Cemetery, Benton, AR.
