Wayne and Dolores moved to Little Rock, Arkansas in 1961 and joined Faith Lutheran Church in 1961. While raising their two children, Tim and Teresa. Dolores taught Sunday school, trained the acolytes, was active in WELCA-attending monthly circle meetings, holding office, and organizing the twice yearly rummage sale. However, her greatest joy was to lovingly care for the Alter. She was asked to become a member of the Altar Guild shortly after joining and has said that she “took to it like a duck in water and liked it so much”. She became Alter Guild chair in 1967 and faithfully served in that role until 2015!

Dolores was also a room mother in the Little Rock public school system and tutored children with English.

She loved to go fishing and camping. She danced the Polka at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles at Little Rock. She was also a member of the Women's committee there.

Dolores is survived by Tim her son, (Martha), sister Lucille Leadendecker, and brother Dennis Koch. Also survived by four granddaughters, one grandson, six great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Wayne of 65 years, one son Kevin and two daughters, Tamaro Jo and Teresa.
