Janice Lewis departed life on May 10, 2025. She was born to Mathis C. Lewis and Margaret Barnes-Lewis on August 21, 1934 in Grady, Arkansas. She graduated from Dunbar High School in 1954. She attended Arkansas Baptist(A.S)Philander-Smith College(B.A) (and recieved her Masters of Science in Education from the University of Central Arkansas. She taught in the LRSD for 30yrs, retiring in 1994.
She leaves to cherish her memories one sister Mary Cagnolotti(Joseph), two nephews Duane & Brian Burnett of Vallejo, CA. One loving grand daughter Erica Browning-Bowman (Derick) of Little Rock, AR. Two great grandson's Dilan Browning and Dion Bowman, two great grand daughters DeErica Farisa-Jones (Christian) and Jazz Browning. Two great-great children Aaliyah Allison-Jones and Caleb Jones all of Little Rock, AR and a host of family, friends and church members. Funeral service will be held at 11am on May 23, 2025 at Pinecrest Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Alexander, AR
