Born on February 27, 1979, Kristal lived a life rooted in love, family, and connection. She was a devoted mother, a cherished sister, and a proud aunt whose greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved most. Whether it was sharing laughter, making memories, or simply being together, Kristal’s presence brought warmth and comfort to everyone around her.
Kristal was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Diane Staton; her father, Wayne Staton; and her sister, Candice Staton.
She leaves behind a legacy of love through her daughters, Anna Barber and Kayla Barber, who were the center of her world. She is also survived by her siblings, James Staton, Jeremy Staton, and Jenny Staton, as well as her many nieces and nephews, all of whom she adored deeply.
Kristal was loved by so many, and her kindness, strength, and beautiful spirit will never be forgotten. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the blessing of knowing her.
A family gathering will be held at Pinecrest Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday March 21, 2026
