Larry Sanders

.Larry Sanders, 61, of Benton was born March 29, 1953 in Little Rock, Arkansas and passed away on Thursday, October 9th, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife Angie Sanders and his children Tera Wilkinson (Steven), Rebecca Sanders and Larry Sanders Jr., as well as his grandchildren Dakota Sanders, Catlin Wilkinson, Haley Dryman and Mikeal Staggs. Other survivors include two brothers Al and Billy Sanders and two sisters Tanya Brazil and Kimberly Rowland also a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Billy Sanders and Norma Hostetler. Mr. Sanders enjoyed spending time with his family singing and playing the guitar as well as playing golf and especially fishing and watching 80’s movies with the grandkids. He proudly served his country both in the Navy and retired from the Army. He was a member of Community Park Church and was a volunteer EMT and Fireman for the Salem Fire Department.

A visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5, in Alexander from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, October 13th, 2014 followed by funeral services on Tuesday, October 14th, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home Chapel with burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park with military honors.
