On Sunday, February 2, 2020 Linda Nell Moore passed away at age 88 at the home of her son in Benton, Arkansas.
Before her retirement she was a long time employee of Handleman Music Distribution Company. Working crossword and Fill-In puzzles was a favorite pastime and she would be beside herself if she missed her soap operas. Her pies were always a big hit with everyone and made a lot of money at church auctions. She volunteered for the Roland Food Bank and was a member of Sylvan Hills Home Extension Club. Quilting was one of the activities she liked to do. She was a member of Winfield United Methodist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas where she volunteered to do church duties.
Linda was born on August 4, 1931 in Cato, Arkansas and is preceded in death by her parents, Roby and Effie Hanks, and her husbands, Jack Ramsey and Milton Moore. She had one son Kenneth Ramsey and four stepchildren, Jimmy Moore, Billy Moore, Jon Moore and Carol Torrey. Two grandchildren, and one great-grand child, eight step-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren. She is survived by three brothers, Bobby Hanks, Johnny Hanks and Ronny Hanks, and four sisters, Edna Durham, Billie Ryle, Pat Herring and Sarah Gibson.
Visitation will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Park on Thursday, February 6, at 1 pm and services will follow at 2 pm.
