Martha Steward Springer Owens past from this life on June 22, 2016. She was born November 2, 1936 at Jamestown, Arkansas to the late A.C. and Hollis Landrum Steward. She was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Erol Springer and Billie Joe Owens, Sr. Survivors include her sons James Springer of Mabelvale and Michael (Phyllis) Springer of Starkville Mississippi; daughter Debbie Lyons; brother Maurice (Carol) Steward of Lavaca; and sister Mary Pledger of Harrison, as well as many nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service to celebrate her life at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Pinecrest Cemetery, Alexander Arkansas.
