Ronald Howard Jack

Ronald Howard Jack, 89, of Maumelle passed away April 29, 2022. He was born June 7, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Howard and Lucille Jack. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. His military service began at IIT in the ROTC program where he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Air Force. It also included being stationed in England for several years.

Ron was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed keeping busy with being outdoors, canoeing, performing in a clogging group, and volunteering hours in service to his church. Ron liked to fix things and was said to have every tool known to man. He was a mechanical engineer for AT&T and retired in 1984. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Lynda Jack; children: Vianna (Ron) Sager, Dawn (Andrew) Crawford, Tamara (Rex) Sutton, Krandel (Melodi) Jack, Abigail (Adam) Swalls, and Susan (Christopher) Smith; 7 grandchildren; and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Mosaic Church.

A visitation for Ronald will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM.
