
Travis enjoyed many things in life such as bowling, traveling, Arkansas Razorbacks and the St. Louis Cardinals, but his greatest achievements is marrying his high school sweetheart on February 19, 1969 and spending time with his babies. Travis wrestled and ran track and field through high school and later graduated college with a Bachelor’s degree going on to work for the Division of Services for the Blind in Arkansas as a rehabilitation counselor.
Travis is survived by his wife Mary Margaret (Hayden) Johnson; his two adopted, successful children, daughter; Holly Celeste Johnson of Las Cruces, New Mexico and son; Sterling Hayden Johnson(Paula), as well as 5 grandchildren; Shealynn, Cierra, Hayden, Emma and Madison Johnson and David Dodson, 4 Nieces and 2 Nephews. He is also survived by one sister; Dorothy Johnson of Little Rock, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, W.B and Verna Louise (Perry) Johnson as well as one sister Mary Spears (Fred).
Travis accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior on March 14, 1974 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 1PM, Tuesday, April 5, 2022 with Funeral services at 2PM at Pinecrest Funeral home, 7401 Highway 5 North, Alexander, Arkansas, 72002.
Burial will be 3PM at Pinecrest Cemetery.
