Leslie and Steven:
Brenda and I join the others in sorrow for your loss.  We met your mother when your father Dave and I (as fellow pilots in the 13th Fighter Interceptor Squadron based at Glasgow AFB, MT) flew east in a squadron F-101F (the "two-stick" version of the F-101B interceptor) to drop me off at McGuire AFB, NJ, to visit my family in New York City while he continued on to Otis AFB, MA, to meet his fiancée Diane (and your mother-to-be).  A couple of days later, Brenda drove the two of us from NYC to join the two of them so that Dave and I could fly back to Glasgow.    
The four of us shared later assignments at Tyndall AFB, FL, and Colorado Springs, CO, though we were in different units and never flew together again.  We did stay in touch after retirements from the U.S. Air Force, to include visiting Sandwich and later Diane when she resettled in Alexandria, VA (where we have been since 1973).
After decades of friendship, we too are going to miss Diane and her acerbic wit and wisdom.  As this time of pain, change and challenge continues for the two of you, we remain ready to assist as may be helpful.  Life moves only forward ... until it stops  in Diane's case leaving us only good memories behind.

I was so saddened to hear about the death of your Mom. She was a wonderful woman and always had the Sandwich  schools as her great concern. She loved you both so much and I hope you cherish her memory.

Leslie & Steven, I was sorry to read of your moms passing. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. She was a strong leader in the Town of Sandwich and was respected by those who truly knew her. The Town was blessed to have had her serve in so many positions. Her strong character was admired as much as her warm smile.

Leslie and Steven, so sorry for your loss. I used to be the volunteer coordinator at RHCI and had the privilege to know your Mom and sweet, sweet grandmother, Tina. Before I left there I met your Mom and was able to show her the stone we placed in Tina's honor. Your Mom was a kind person and I know it will be difficult.
