Died on April 13, 2013 at his home in Mt Vernon, VA. Ted was a long time resident of Mt Vernon and was co-owner of Doran’s Automotive. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his son, Edward Doran III and his wife, Jennie; his daughter, Mary Christesen and her husband Mike and grandchildren, Kelly Doran, Edward Doran IV, Leah Christesen and Caitlin Christesen. He is also survived by his brother, Francis Doran, his wife Marie and their children, Francis Jr. and Stephanie.
A service will be held on Friday, April 19, 11:00 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church, Alexandria VA with interment to follow at 12:00pm at Mt. Comfort Cemetery. A reception will follow the services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Children’s National Medical Center, www.childrensnational.org
