Mom, grandma, nurse, officer’s wife and Baltimore native, died May 20, 2016, in Alexandria, VA. An auspicious amount of time here on this earth – 88 years young – to be celebrated Sept. 9, 2016. Services at Arlington National Cemetery.
To the end, Ethel – a fan of Judge Judy – said it like it is. She traveled the world as a military spouse raising four proud “Army brats” and as a 50-something added a college degree to her portfolio before resuming a nursing career. A son Craig preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, LTC (Ret.) Moy O. Chin; son and daughter-in-law Mark and Sharon; son Curtis; daughter Lisa; and grandchildren Andrew, Ellen and Ellie; as well as family across the United States.
