Mon cher François, j’ai cherché longtemps à te joindre mais tu ne répondais pas, et pour cause. Quelle tristesse de te savoir parti sans avoir pu te dire au revoir. Je ne t oublierai jamais tant nous avons été proches tout au long de ces années. Bonne route mon gars et ne fais pas d imprudence…. La bise sur ta barbe fleurie. Bruno sotty.

I met Francois in the 70 s, when we both worked for JOC oil in Holland.  We stayed in touch and had lots of fun when he was taking part in the British Classic Car races, as “The Mad Frog”.  I have several ‘before and after” photos of his crumpled Aston Martins.  He was always interesting and amusing, a bon viveur with a great zest for life.  I last heard from him when he celebrated his last Big 0 birthday by going to the opera.  Rest in peace Francois, and sincere  condolences to Kathy and Meghan, whom I never met but about whom he talked a lot.

Francois had many good friends all over Europe and they are deeply saddened by his death.  

Allsports was a big part of my kids' life growing up and Francois had an impact on us all.  So sad to hear that he is gone.  Rest in peace.

He was such a nice new neighbor when I first bought a house near his on Queen Street, and I appreciated that.  We had some wonderful chats from time to time when we saw each other.
