On Monday, February 27, 2012. Joan C. Duggan, 48, of Alexandria, VA. She was the loving wife of Larry Spencer. She is survived by two sisters, Margaret Sabin of Colorado Springs CO and Mary Barrett of Eldersburg, MD, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, step-children and step-grandchildren. She is predeceased by one sister, Catherine Duggan and five brothers, Jackie Duggan, Kevin Duggan, Michael Duggan, Jonathan Duggan and Brian Duggan
In the 25 years of Joan’s nursing career she worked at Georgetown University Hospital, Children’s National Medical Center, Denver General Hospital and the Washington Hospital Center. Her nursing specialties were pediatrics and endocrinology.
A memorial service will be held on March 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Demaine Funeral Home, 520 S. Washington Street, Alexandria, VA 22314
