June-Mary Booth “Rufus” (Age 86) passed away on October 15, 2013, at her home in Fort Belvoir, VA. She is predeceased by her dear husband of 68 years, Lt Col Joseph B. Booth (Ret.) and her beloved daughter Carolyn Fritz. She is survived by her son in law Herman Joseph Fritz, her children (and their spouses) Helen Booth, Sharon Booth, Josephine Scott (Tommy Scott), Robert Booth (Fran Booth) and Cynthia Laporta (Eugene Laporta), and her 9 grandchildren and 7 great grand children. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10:30 am at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church 6744 S. Kings Hwy, Alexandria VA 22310. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cascade Beagle Rescue at cascaderescue.org
