Tuesday morning May 14, Margaret Burgess Pergler, joined her husband of 38 years, Carl Pergler, in heaven after 100 years of life. Born February 28, 1913 in Norfolk, Virginia. Survived by daughter, Mardie; son Bob, his wife Pat, grandson Justin now deceased; son Charles, his wife Mary Skarra-Pergler; granddaughter Isis Mariah Skarra-Pergler and her husband Joe Stoffer. Attended College of William and Mary, played center on their basketball team, worked in Washington DC for her uncle, the US Solicitor General in 1933-35, held various administrative positions on Capitol Hill and Fort Belvoir. A beautiful lady that will be missed! Visitation will be at Demaine Funeral Home, 520 South Washington Street, Alexandria from 6:00 to 8:00PM, Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Internment at Arlington National Cemetery, date to be determined.
