

Maureen Therese Vitullo was born August 11, 1960 in Honolulu, Hawaii, the youngest daughter of Anthony Jack and Kathryn Louise Mullen Vitullo. Her father was an Army officer who was stationed in Hawaii at the time she was born. Maureen spent most of her life in the northern Virginia area and attended Fort Hunt High School in Alexandria, Virginia. Although not employed in recent years, she worked for many years as a purchasing agent for Washington D.C. Metro.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack and her sister, Anne Broad of Columbus, Ohio. She is survived by her mother, Louise of Fort Belvoir, Virginia, her sisters; Karen (Gary) White of Hamilton, Virginia and Elane Vitullo of Washington, D.C., and her brother, John Vitullo of Alexandria, Virginia. She is also survived by one niece, Christina Broad, four nephews; Josh Broad, Steve White, Bryan (Virginia) White, and Jim Skaats, and her brother in law, Jim Broad.
A memorial service will be held at Demaine Funeral Home, Alexandria, Virginia on Sunday, April 27 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Maureen’s memory to: www.diabetes.org
