Rear Admiral RALPH L. TINDAL US Navy (Ret.) Rear Admiral Ralph L. Tindal, US Navy, Retired, of Falkstone Lane in Alexandria, passed away suddenly on August 2, 2012. He is survived by his wife Sally and their sons Larry (Beth), Bill (Karen), and John (Kathleen), and seven grandchildren: Katie, Kenny, Andrew, Angela, Alex, Sean, and Anna. Ralph shaped his life and the lives of those around him with faith, love and service. Ralph was many things to many people; leader, father, role model, and friend. A wake will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, in Alexandria, on Tuesday, August 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. followed by a funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 8 at 10:30 a.m. He will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor to the Saint Joseph Mission Fund (sjmissionfund.net) are preferred.
