To the Family,

On May 17th, I was informed of Regina’s, my neighbor, passing. My deepest sympathies go out to family. May God give all the comfort and strength that is needed during this temporary time of sadness for your loss.

Weep but briefly, for your loved one, Regina has entered into the Kingdom of God, for she shall possess a joy and peace that is unattainable on God’s earthly realm. She rather, rejoice in her everlasting and total happiness for her eyes have seen God.

Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Psalm 34:18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

I hope this message of condolence reaches Regina's friends and family.  I was deeply saddened to hear of Regina's passing. She was such a positive presence in our EPA front office, where I saw her terrific smile and positive attitude every day.  In our casual conversations I would experience a small sampling of Regina's faith and of her wonderful perspective on life, and these encounters would help me realize that life is not just about the craziness of work.  I also could crack her up with a joke and she laughed and laughed.  I left EPA over a year ago but still remember that laugh. Rest in Peace, Regina.
