

Suzy grew up in Haddonfield and Moorestown, NJ. She attended the University of Delaware, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology, but her true love of learning was actually in art history. She enjoyed art and antiques and spent many years visiting museums and exhibits. She was also fond of traveling and had a great appreciation for children's books, with Tasha Tudor being one of her very favorite children's authors and illustrators.
She loved spending time with family and friends and was an incredible mother and friend. Anyone who knew Suzy knew that she had collected all things “strawberry” and had amassed thousands of items with strawberries over her lifetime. She also collected miniatures, which she began collecting as a child.
Suzy is survived by her two daughters, Bonni Mulligan and her husband Steve, of Cambridge, England, and Robin Reeder of Alexandria, Virginia; her granddaughter, Holly Barrington (Jonny) of Keswick, Virginia; and great-granddaughter, Evelyn Barrington. She is additionally survived by her brother, Edward R. Murray (Ruth), of Kauai, Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. E. N. Murray and Sue Smith Murray, of Moorestown, New Jersey.
Suzy will always be remembered for her upbeat and cheerful disposition and her beautiful smile.
