I’m so sorry. I pray that you will find comfort in that Walt will live on in our memories,  faces and gestures of his children and grandchildren. He was a wonderful man who always greeted me with a smile and “how can I help?”  I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My condolences to the family. I went school with Walt and his brother John. We had some great memories to last a lifetime. Years later I bumped into Walt at work on the show floor one day and we both stood in shock from not seeing each other in years. He told me that John was in the trade show industry as well. We probably talked for 15 minutes or more. And every time we saw each other we always took time to catch up in our lives. I always thought he was a great guy and a great person to call my friend. My heart goes out to his family for their loss. May you rest in peace my good friend. We only part to meet again. Peace and love brother 🙏 

When me and my brother were younger he always said he would pay me for doing dishes and mowing grass.  We always wanted to be sure to clean up before our mom arrived home.  I always waited to get paid for all the chores I did for him and he never did...so I thought. 

The way Walt paid me back was not just in the dollars I waited for when I was ten, he paid me back by validating me. By making several trips to Texas  with  his family  to visit me  when my children were younger. Making sure my son was ok when he was in college and sending him money and clothes.    Giving me advice about my daughter when I beat myself up about being a parent. By protecting me at work, always making sure I arrived to my car safely when we were done working late night hours. Always making sure I had food.  I’m grateful he didn’t pay me  back then in dollars...that little money would of been gone decades ago but the memories and love I have for my brother will last a life time.   Thank you Walt for having such a big heart! I love you and I miss you!
