Antonette Tramuta

Antonette Tramuta, age 94, of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. Antonette was born February 6, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Salvatore and Caterina (Piccioli) Safina.

Antonette was a true homemaker who took her endless job seriously. She kept her house in "white glove" order and did the same with taking care of her late beloved husband of 60 years, Salvatore and her only daughter, Laura. She made sure all of their needs were met. From making sure there were delicious meals on their table at the appropriate time; to her flair for gardening and hand-sewing, while providing a loving and happy home. She was a devout Catholic who was a member of Nativity Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Salvatore Tramuta and three brothers, John, Louis and Carl Safina.

Antonette is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Laura Krot (Carl); her three grandsons, Michael Krot Quoia (Lisa), Brian Krot (Marna), and Matthew Krot (Elizabeth) and five great-grandchildren, Abigail, Brice, Kennedy, Griffin and Joseph.

A visitation for Antonette will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Baldwin-Fairchild West Altamonte Chapel, 90 Weathersfield Avenue, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32714. A Wake Service will begin at 7:30 PM.

A Funeral Mass will occur Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Annunciation Catholic Church, 1020 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32714. A committal service will follow shortly after at 2:50 PM at Highland Memory Gardens, 3329 East Semoran Boulevard, Apopka, Florida 32703.
