Charles Wilbur Peeple, III, was born April 5, 1955 in Staten Island NY to Charles W. Peeple, II and Melphene Thomas Peeple. The eldest of 5 children. He is preceded in death by His Mother Melphene Peeple and his father Charles W. Peeple. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Carole Freemon Peeple. His daughters, Leslie, Celeste (Murad), Elizabeth, and Charlotte (Brian). Grandchildren, Nolan, Autumn, Laylah, Liam, Cadence, and Victoria. His sisters, Harriett, Carol, Debra, and Gail, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Charles was educated in New York City where he graduated from Port Richmond High School. After graduation he began a long and successful career in computer programming. He worked his way up through the company to become a director at ABC/Disney. He then migrated to IBM where he was put in charge of the mainframe systems, before retiring.
Charles never lost his love for music, playing a variety of instruments including the saxophone, flute, bass, guitar, piano, and drums. He participated in many bands and even toured Europe. His love for music extended to setting up music programs at large churches and teaching students at camps and youth centers.
Charles has always been involved in churches, driving sometimes hours each weekend to help set up praise and worship programs to better reach out to the youth. Wherever Charles attended he would immediately become a fixture for his hard work and dedication. He dependably supported and helped his church through his servitude all the while keeping a smile on people’s faces with his witty sense of humor.
Charles’ life was an example of love and excellence. He will be greatly missed
