

Born July 1, 1936, in Corbin, Kentucky, Elizabeth was one of eight siblings. She was known for devotion to her family and caring for loved ones. She had lived in Florida since 1985, but always called Kentucky her home. She enjoyed trips to Cumberland Falls and Gatlinburg, as well as fishing, the outdoors and genealogy.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Osa Mae (Hammons) Lagron and Cecil Hammons, Sr., and her brothers Cecil Hammons, Jr., Curtis Hammons and Douglas Hammons, and sister, Patsy Hammons, She is survived by her sisters, CJ Anstead, Barbara Link, and brother, Paul Hammons, children Monte Joe Masterson, Marlo (Masterson) Pollitto, Mona (Masterson) Bugdal and son-in-law, Bruce Bugdal, grandchildren Amanda Pollitto, and Kyle Bugdal and his wife Jennifer Bugdal.
The family would like to thank Drs. Jason Salagabang and Estrella Vega for their attentive care during her illness, as well as the doctors and nurses from Hospice who cared for her in her final days.
A Celebration of Life is planned for June 6, 2026, 1:00pm at The Horine Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
