Ernesto "Papi" Martin Rodriguez, age 89, passed away on his birthday, at Hospice of the Comforter (Altamonte Springs, FL) on November 11, 2014.
Born November 11, 1925, in Baracoa, Cuba, he lived in New York, but mostly in West Palm Beach, before settling in Orlando, FL the last 4 years. He worked at the Southland Corporation, and then in the Real Estate market until retiring in 2000.
Ernesto was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Survivors include his longtime companion, Victoria Rodriguez, and his 5 children Mireya, Ernest, Mario, Henry (Nikki), and Monica Rodriguez.
