He is predeceased in death by his parents Phyllis and Titus Smith, as well as his son Richard Smith and step daughter Kelly Goodman.
He is survived by his wife Jewel Smith, daughter Kimberly Smith and grandsons William Nelson, Matthew Goodman and Kevin Goodman.
A memorial service for Garvin will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 994 E ALTAMONTE DR, ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL 32701, followed by a reception from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Crealde School of Art, 600 St. Andrews Blvd, Winter Park Florida 32792.
