Gregory was born on July 4, 1959, in Boston, Massachusetts, and was adopted at birth by Joan and Gerry Wallin. Later in life, he was also lovingly adopted by Ronald Wilson. He grew up in Miami Shores and Longwood, Florida, where he built the foundation of a life centered on family, hard work, and loyalty.
He built a successful career as a civil engineering draftsman and took great pride in his work. Outside of his career, Gregory found his greatest happiness in life’s simple pleasures such as fishing, boating, and spending time out on the water. Those moments brought him peace, but nothing meant more to him than his family.
Gregory was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose life was defined by his selflessness and love for others. He always put his family first, making sure everyone was cared for and creating lasting memories whenever he could. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh, bringing lightness and joy to those around him. His presence was steady, his heart was generous, and his love for his family was unwavering.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Clarinda Wilson; his children, Joseph Wilson, Brittany Simms (Anthony), and Jared Wilson (Erin); and his four grandchildren, Jordan Simms, Elliott Simms, Colton Wilson, and Caleb Wilson, who brought him immense pride and happiness.
Gregory will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he helped create.
Arrangements are entrusted to Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home at 90 Weathersfield Ave. Altamonte Springs, Fl, 32714.
