Michael Vincent Knox died on August 13, 2021 in his bed at his long time home in Altamonte Springs, Florida. He was born in New York City, NY in October of 1950, but was raised in Orlando, Florida. He attended Rollins College and earned a B.A. in Philosophy with the intention of pursuing a law degree but later found his passion in the hospitality industry. He was a committed employee of of Darden Restaurant Inc for many years. Michael loved watching college football, playing bridge and visiting every morning with his friends. He is survived by his decades long bridge partner, Kay, whom he always said was a better player than he was, his neighbors whom he shared exactly two cups of coffee with every day, and his niece who loved him endlessly, even though he was a Republican.
He will be immensely missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the club house of his community at 118 Maitland Ave, Altamonte Springs, FL at 12pm on Saturday September 4th 2021.
