Born June 25, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, Roger was known for his love of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susan Thomson. Together, they founded Conelec in 1983 and built both a successful business and a wonderful life together.
Roger attended Glenbard High School and remained a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs. He enjoyed boating, golfing, traveling, and never passed up a good hot dog or slice of pizza.
He is survived by his son David, daughter-in-law Maria, granddaughter Emma, grandson John, brothers Raymond Cowan and Richard Cowan, and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 6, 2026, from 1:00–5:00 p.m. at the Longwood Community Building - 200 W Warren Ave, Longwood, FL 32750.
